Pictures with Santa

We had a great time at Dubai Mall today. Aidan took a picture with Santa (while sitting in Patrick's lap) and even remembered to ask for a toy motorcycle. Everything was great until we were leaving and he was upset about not getting a motorcycle. We had forgotten to explain that he had to wait for Christmas Day for it. Oops.

We ate lunch at the Macaroni Grill. They have a great view of some of the smaller Aquarium windows. The kids wandered back and forth from the table to the Aquarium. Luckily it was a pretty quiet day so we weren't getting in anybody's way.

Thanksgiving Picnic

Mira suggested a picnic thanksgiving and it was a fabulous idea. The weather was amazing, the sky was clear, and the kids got to run around. No pictures of Emma since she took off as soon as "dinner" was finished.

I had a chance to go on a training retreat with our school's peer counseling group. We had a great time and I was reminded what a great program peer counseling can be.

It was too cool to swim in the teeny tiny pool but it was just perfect for soaking tired feet

Cinnamon Ornaments

I thought these turned out pretty well.  Aidan enjoyed dumping in the ingredients and cutting them out. They are a bit delicate so don't roll the dough out too thin.
