Off The Grid

We're moving to the villa today.  Phone and internet are off at the apartment, not sure if they'll be up at the villa by tonight.  We're going to be very busy for the next two days, so we'll probably not contact anyone.

You can reach us on our cell phones through iMessage or Twitter.  We'll let everyone know through one of these two when we're at the airport.

All boxed up

Our desktop computer died and we had to pick up a new.  It has a larger screen and is a lot more powerful.  I like it a lot.  Aidan really liked the box it came in.

The Gruffalo

I never paid much attention to The Gruffalo before Kiira fell in love with it.  Sure, I knew it was supposed to be a great kids book, but I was selfish.  If was always used in the classroom, would be a bit repetitive in the library so I couldn't use it, and if I couldn't use it I was going to pay more attention to the books I could use.  When I was looking through iTunes for a video to rent for Aidan I saw the Oscar nominated short film The Gruffalo.  I download it since the book is supposed to be good and Kiira has the entire story memorized - I should give it a try.

  Turns out to be the best book-to-movie adaptation I;ve ever seen as well as Aidan's new favorite movie and, GASP!, a book a really likes.
